I have my 1955 2nd series chevy truck tore down to the frame right now and want to install a tank in the frame getting it out of. Discussion starter · #1 · mar 3, 2009. It's been several years since i replaced the gas tank in my 55 chevy wagon.
The Fuel Tank Mounting Straps Are Removed (Two Bolts Each Strap).
Coated galvanized steel then powder coated silver. 1955 chevy bel air gas fill i know this is where the 56 chevy gas fill is, i'd like to do the same on my 55! But what was written is the way i remember it.
